This however works fine on my old tincan: Bristle qualities Flat Angle Bristles 14% Length 104% Thickness 23% Stiffness 42% Angle -6 degree Spacing 2%  Shape dynamics Angle 0%...

This is what will be “A crime-infested alley in a seedy neighbourhood.” Yes, I’m obviously a rather huge Middleman fan. You have to deal with that. First I doodle about in Paint Tool Sai and create a grey background. Preferably with some textures in it so I used a brush instead of the fill tool. Thought I’d share my background sketch brush for Sai. Save this image as flat_noik in BMP format to the sai\elemap folder. Open the sai\brushform.conf file in Notepad and add the line: 2,elemap\flat_noik.bmp Start up Sai and create a new brush with these settings:   I change the density and size on a whim but the others tend to stay like this. Use it big, do rocks. Most of the things...

Plunge it!
Perhaps I’m predisposed by being bored too easily, but I think a lot can be said for trying out new styles. Sure, we tend to stick with what we’ve developed over time and I don’t say that’s a bad thing. Not at all. There are lots of good things to have a style but at the same time, that was of doing the lines are there as a foundation even when we take a plunge outside of...
